Albert Diehl III, MD

Albert Diehl III, MD, has been practicing as a breast surgeon since 2018. He has a stellar academic background with a commitment to educational excellence and humanitarian issues. His accomplished surgical skills and wonderful bedside manner have led to his inclusion in Atlanta Magazine Top Doctors, Castle Connolly Top Doctors, as well as a feature in the Atlantan Magazine. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Diehl earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign. He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, and continued on to complete his internship and residency in general surgery at Emory, as well as a fellowship in breast oncology.

Dr. Diehl grew up in a small town in Southern Illinois, where his family owned a strawberry farm. As an Atlanta resident, he enjoys exploring the vibrant Atlanta restaurant scene, baking various treats for the office staff to enjoy, and taking advantage of the wonderful airport to travel the world. He also enjoys spending time with his two very spoiled rescue dogs.
